Vision, Experience, & Qualifications
Clutch Psychotherapy was born from a deeply personal journey. Through my own healing, I discovered the power of self-worth, confidence, and resilience. Now, as a therapist, I’ve made it my mission to guide others on their own path to self-empowerment. Clutch Psychotherapy exists to help people break through self-doubt, overcome past wounds, and step into the strong, confident lives they deserve. At Clutch Psychotherapy, we believe in turning pain into power, fear into confidence, and struggle into success. No matter where you are in your journey, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help you show up for yourself, reclaim your confidence, and thrive—even in life’s clutch moments.
I've practiced psychotherapy in Canada for over 10 years across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, community health, as a crisis counselor, and as a college professor. Now working in the United States as an PC-A and LHMC-A with clients in Oregon & Washington, I am receiving clinical supervision from Jerrica KF Ching, LMHC, LPC, LMFT. When I am not in the office, you will likely find me hiking in the mountains or playing my dog Charlie.
Feel free to reach out by email to request a free 15-min video consultation. I am currently offering in person and telehealth sessions. I have limited evening and weekend appointments available.
Also offering EMDR Intensives, including weekend intensives (2 days/3 hours per day) and week intensives (3 days/2 hours per day) where clinically appropriate. Inquire for more information.
FEES & BILLING:
Payment can be made via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), Zelle, or check.
I am out of network with all insurance companies. Some insurance companies will reimburse for out of network benefits. You can reach out to your specific insurance provider, ask if they will cover mental health counseling from a Professional Counselor Associate (LP-A) (for Oregon residents) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHC-A) (for Washington residents). After each session, I will provide you with a superbill for you to submit to them for reimbursement purposes.
In order to find out what your reimbursement rate would be for your personal plan, either verify this information on your summary of benefits statement or call your insurance company and ask: 1) Are out-of-network mental health services covered through my plan?; 2) What is the reimbursement rate for out-of-network mental health therapy sessions?; 3) is there a limitation for amount of services/reimbursement I can receive on my plan?
Please note that if you use insurance for mental health coverage any clinician you work with will be required to give you a formal mental health diagnosis from the DSM-V. For this reason, some clients prefer not to use insurance and pay out of pocket.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE:
As I am out of network, it is already established that you will not be using insurance. Also, my rate is posted. It is impossible for me to predict the number of sessions you would benefit from for several reasons. The number of sessions and your budget are in your control, as I am an Out of Network provider. I can say that people typically see me for at least 6 months to 1 year. The issues people often see me for tend to be related to anxiety, depression, grief, residual effects of trauma/PTSD, and issues around self-esteem/self-confidence. In processing these types of issues, everyone is utterly unique. It would not be ethical or therapeutic for me to assign a diagnosis prior to meeting you and with the treatment modalities I employ and am trained in.
